What replaces a needle for testosterone or TRT?

Oily testosterone uses the Comfort-in IM kit, which is for intramuscular delivery. Keep each jet injection to about 0.25 ml, so a larger dose is split. The nozzle holds 0.01 ml to 0.5 ml. The medicine and the schedule still come from the prescriber.

How It Works with Oily Medications

Oily medications (like testosterone) are thicker and more difficult to absorb, especially when injected in large amounts. That’s why micro-dosing—splitting your total dose into multiple smaller injections—is key.

Most users inject:

  • 0.25 mL per shot (ideal)
  • Up to 0.3 mL is generally well-tolerated
  • Avoid 0.5 mL in one injection – it’s not recommended because the body, being water-based, doesn’t absorb large oil volumes easily when delivered by force. This can cause discomfort and affect absorption.

Tips for Testosterone Injections

A standard needle leaves a pool in the subcutis. Comfort-in spreads the dose through the skin layers.

  1. Practice injecting with saline solution prior to testosterone.
  2. Get familiar with the device, know how to match the strength of the injector to the desired dose.( can send you videos)
  3. After practice with saline, start with small dose of testosterone, no more than 0.2-0.25 at a time.
  4. Practice injecting yourself in different parts of your body, abdomen, inner thighs, outer thighs by yourself, for injecting your shoulder and back of your arm ask for assistance.
